JR-West SANYO-SAN'IN Rail Pass - 7Day/Adult

Get unlimited rides on the Sanyo Shinkansen (incl. NOZOMI and MIZUHO, between Shin-Osaka and Hakata), Limited Express and local trains (incl.Rapid services) in the area with reserved  and non-reserved seats, WEST JAPAN JR BUS, JR-West Miyajima Ferry, and Chugoku JR Bus in the area.  
            
Valid trains of Sanyo-San'in Area pass are listed below (Reserved seats)                

• Reserved seats on SANYO SHINKANSEN (Shin-Osaka⇔Hakata)                
• This pass can be used for "Hello Kitty Shinkansen".               
• Limited Express Trains (HARUKA, KUROSHIO, THUNDERBIRD, KOUNOTORI, YAKUMO, SUPER HAKUTO (including Kamigori⇔Chizu), SUPER INABA, etc.)                
• ※Reserved Seats unlimited times (From the 7th booking, seats must be reserved at the JR Ticket Offices.)                            
• Special Rapid Services, Rapid Services, and Local trains on JR-WEST Conventional lines                
• JR WEST MIYAJIMA FERRY (Miyajimaguchi⇔Miyajima)                
• The pass is only valid on WEST JAPAN JR BUS route buses within the valid area. The pass cannot be used on expressway buses.                
• Unlimited rides on Chugoku JR route buses. (Hiroshima Meipuru-pu and Local and express buses(Super Hagi) only.　               

 These trains below cannot be used                

• Bullet Train "TOKAIDO SHINKANSEN" (Shin-Osaka⇔Tokyo)                
• Bullet Train "KYUSHU SHINKANSEN" (Hakata⇔Kagoshima-Chuo) 

Eligibility
Foreign nationals who are holders of non-Japanese passports (who have entered Japan with a "Temporary Visitor" visa to stay in Japan for no longer than 90 days) are eligible. Passports are required for confirmation purposes at the time of exchange or purchase.

Availability and Use

• After you complete a reservation, a confirmation email will be sent to you within 3 business days. At the same time, we will ask you for the usage start date of your JR Pass.
• We will not be able to issue a voucher unless the date of use is confirmed, so please inform us the usage start date you prefer, which has to be within 3 months from the date you purchase.
• We will then send your JR Pass voucher by email.
• You can activate your JR Pass Voucher at a ticket vending machine with a passport reader in JR-West stations.
• What to Bring
  • E-ticket with QR code attached to the email. *1
  • Passport with an IC chip. *2
• A rail pass is available and usable all year around.
• A rail pass is purchasable up to one month in advance of the first day of use.
• A rail pass is valid for consecutive days.
• The validity of a rail pass starts at 12 a.m.

*1 PDF file on a smartphone can also be scanned.
*2 If your passport has no IC chip in it, please go to a JR-West Ticket Office to exchange your Voucher.

Rules & Restrictions

• The starting date of the rail pass and the duration cannot be changed after purchase.
• A rail pass is only valid for its rail pass holder only.
• A passport must be carried when a rail pass is used and presented when a JR staff asks to.
• A rail pass will be void if the magnetic ticket is detached from a rail passbook.
• A rail pass will not be reissued even if lost or stolen.
• Children under the age of 6 do not require a pass unless you wish to reserve seats
