JR-West SETOUCHI Area Rail Pass - 7Day/Adult

Get unlimited rides on the Sanyo Shinkansen (incl.NOZOMI and MIZUHO, between Shin-Osaka and Hakata), Limited Express and local trains (incl. Rapid and Special Rapid Services)in the area with reserved and non-reserved seats, and West JR Bus in the valid area. Reserved Seats unlimited times( Seats must be reserved at the JR Ticket Offices from the 7th booking.) This pass is including Okayama Electric tramway, Okaden Bus, Chugoku JR Bus (Hiroshima Meipuru-pu only) ,Miyajima Ferry, Ishizaki kisen, Setonaikaikisen, Shodoshima Ferry, and Kokusai Ryobi Ferry. Please note that the available routes are limited.

Valid trains are listed below

• The pass can be used for reserved and non-reserved seats on Bullet Train "SANYO SHINKANSEN" (Shin-Osaka⇔Hakata). Also, the pass can also be used for the Hello Kitty Shinkansen.
• The pass can be used for reserved and non-reserved seats on Limited Express trains (HARUKA, SHIOKAZE, NAMPU, etc.).
• The pass can be used for reserved and non-reserved seats on JR-WEST and JR-SHIKOKU Rapid Service Marine Liner and local service trains (including Special Rapid and Rapid Service trains).

Below trains below cannot be used

• Bullet Train "TOKAIDO SHINKANSEN" (Shin-Osaka⇔Tokyo)
• Bullet Train "KYUSHU SHINKANSEN" (Hakata⇔Kagoshima-Chuo)

Eligibility
Foreign nationals who are holders of non-Japanese passports (who have entered Japan with a "Temporary Visitor" visa to stay in Japan for no longer than 90 days) are eligible. Passports are required for confirmation purposes at the time of exchange or purchase.

Availability and Use

• After you complete a reservation, a confirmation email will be sent to you within 3 business days. At the same time, we will ask you for the usage start date of your JR Pass.
• We will not be able to issue a voucher unless the date of use is confirmed, so please inform us the usage start date you prefer, which has to be within 3 months from the date you purchase.
• We will then send your JR Pass voucher by email.
• You can activate your JR Pass Voucher at a ticket vending machine with a passport reader in JR-West stations.
• What to Bring

  • Passport with an IC chip. *2
• A rail pass is available and usable all year around.
• A rail pass is purchasable up to one month in advance of the first day of use.
• A rail pass is valid for consecutive days.
• The validity of a rail pass starts at 12 a.m.

*1 PDF file on a smartphone can also be scanned.
*2 If your passport has no IC chip in it, please go to a JR-West Ticket Office to exchange your Voucher.

Rules & Restrictions

• The starting date of the rail pass and the duration cannot be changed after purchase.
• A rail pass is only valid for its rail pass holder only.
• A passport must be carried when a rail pass is used and presented when a JR staff asks to.
• A rail pass will be void if the magnetic ticket is detached from a rail passbook.
• A rail pass will not be reissued even if lost or stolen.
• Children under the age of 6 do not require a pass unless you wish to reserve seats.
