How it works
- After the purchase, your e-Gift Card will be available under the "Order history" page within 24 hours
- Additionally, you will receive an activation link for your e-Gift Card by email within 4 business days
- The activation link will be valid for six (6) months and cannot be renewed
- The e-Gift Card can only be used once from the "Order history" page
- The e-Gift Card can be redeemed online and in-store
- The e-Gift Card does not expire
Online Redemption
- Visit www.macys.com and click "Apply Gift Cards" when entering payment method at checkout
- Enter the first 15-digits into the "Card Number" field and the last 4-digits into the "CID” field
- Enter the Security verification characters and then click “Apply Gift Card”
In-store Redemption
- Shop at any Macy’s or Macy’s Backstage store in the US
- Present the printed Gift Card including the barcode to a Macy's Associate at checkout
- After the purchase, your e-Gift Card will be available under the "Order history" page within 24 hours
- Additionally, you will receive an activation link for your e-Gift Card by email within 4 business days
- The activation link will be valid for six (6) months and cannot be renewed
- The e-Gift Card can only be used once from the "Order history" page
- The e-Gift Card does not expire
- The e-Gift Card may not be redeemed for cash (except as required by law) or applied as payment or credit to any credit card account
